Fuel Injection System Components:

1 - Air filter housing
2 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39-* before catalytic converter, 50 Nm
3 - Oxygen Sensor (O2S) behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G130-*, 50 Nm
4 - Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62-*
5 - Recirculating valve for turbocharger -N249-*/**
6 - Secondary Air Injection (AIR) solenoid valve -N112-*/**
7 - Throttle valve control module (J338)*
- Tighten to 10 Nm
- When replacing, adapt Engine Control Module (ECM).
8 - Clutch vacuum vent valve switch -F36-*, brake light switch -F-*, brake pedal switch -F47-* and Throttle Position (TP) sensor -G79-* and sender -2- for accelerator pedal position -G185-*
- In driver-side footwell
9 - 4-pin harness connector
- Brown for Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G130- and oxygen sensor heater
10 - 6-pin harness connector
- Black for Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 1 before Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G39- and oxygen sensor heater
11 - 3-pin harness connector
- Gray for Engine Speed (RPM) sensor -G28-
12 - 3-pin harness connector
- Green for Knock Sensor (KS) 1 -G61-
13 - 3-pin harness connector
- Blue for Knock Sensor (KS) 2 -G66-
14 - Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump relay -J299-*/**
15 - Engine Control Module (ECM)* (control module for Motronic - J220-)
- Checking voltage supply
- Procedure to follow after open circuit in voltage supply
16 - Intake Air - Temperature (IAT) sensor
- Tighten to 10 Nm
17 - Engine speed sensor -G28-*
- Inductive sensor
- Tighten to 10 Nm
18 - Charge air pressure sensor -G31-*
19 - Knock Sensor (KS) 2 -G66-*
