Torque converter
The torque converter is equipped with a lock-up clutch. The closing of the lock-up clutch is determined by the engine load and speed and produces very little vibration. The lock-up clutch drives all forward gears mechanically without slippage.

Transmission
The 5-speed automatic transmission 01V all wheel drive has five hydraulically activated forward gears. When the lock-up clutch is closed these forward gears become mechanically driven gears by cutting out the torque converter slip.
