Turbocharger System Components








Observe "Rules For Cleanliness" at Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service Precautions.

NOTES:
- All hose connections are secured with clips.
- Boost pressure system must be leak tight.
- Replace self-locking nuts.

- Note installation position
3 - Oil seal
- Replace
4 - Connection
- Tighten to 30 Nm (22 ft lb)
5 - From oil filter bracket
6 - Oil supply pipe
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
7 - From coolant line on intake manifold
- Tighten to 30 Nm (22 ft lb)
8 - Connection
- 35 Nm (26 ft lb)
9 - Washer
10 - 25 Nm (18 Ft lb)
11 - Hose
- To Wastegate Bypass Regulator valve N75
12 - Banjo bolt
- 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
13 - To cylinder block
14 - Coolant return line
15 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
16 - Hose
- To Wastegate Bypass Regulator valve N75
17 - Banjo bolt
- 15 Nm (11 ft lb)
18 - Retainer
- Between turbocharger and cylinder block
19 - 40 Nm (30 ft lb)
20 - From Air Cleaner
21 - To Charge Air Cooler
22 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
23 - Plug
- 15 Nm (11 ft lb)
24 - Oil return line
- To Oil pan
25 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb )
26 - Turbocharger
- Boost pressure control valve and the Wastegate Bypass Regulator valve are integral components of the turbo charger and cannot be replaced individually.
27 - 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
28 - Three-Way Catalyst
29 - 35 Nm (26 ft lb)
- Replace
- Coat threads and bolt head seating surface with G 052 112 A3
