Front Turn Signal And Side Marker Light Housing, Removing And Installing

Removing


NOTE: To remove right-hand turn signal/side marker light housing, remove engine intake duct beforehand.







- Unhook retainer spring -arrow- on inside of housing.







- Pull light housing forwards in direction of -arrow- from headlight housing.
- Disconnect electrical connector

Installing
- Reconnect electrical connector -1-.







- insert light housing into opening.


NOTE: The light housing locating tabs must locate in the guides -arrows- of the headlight housing.







- Attach retainer spring -arrow- on inside of light housing.

Turn signal bulb, replacing


CAUTION!
Do not touch glass portion of bulb with bare hands. Even the smallest amount of moisture and/or contaminants from fingers that evaporates on the bulb during operation can cause the glass to cloud over.


Removing







- Turn bulb holder in direction of arrow and pull out from housing.
- Remove bulb from holder.

Installing
When installing, ensure that the bulb holder engages in the housing by turning in opposite direction of arrow.
