Gas-filled Strut, Removing

- Support hood.







- Lift securing clip - 1 - using a screwdriver and remove gas-filled strut from ball studs - 2 -.

NOTE: When re-using gas-filled strut, do not pry securing clip - 1 - completely out of ball socket, otherwise securing clip may be damaged.
