Cover And Cushion For Front Seat, Removing And Installing

NOTE: Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures, depending upon equipment installed in vehicle.

Removing
- Remove seat.
- Remove backrest.







- Pull off cover - 1 - from seat frame - 2 - - arrows -.







- Guide pry lever 80-200 between seat frame - 2 - and cover - 3 - and press apart catches - 4 - - arrow A -.
- Pull cover - 3 - out of guide on seat frame - 2 - and fold upward.
- Roll up cover far enough until upholstery wires become visible.







- Cut through upholstery clips - arrows - and remove cover from cushion.
- Remove cushion.
- Remove seat occupied recognition (USA).

NOTE:
- On vehicles with seat occupied recognition, cushion must not be separated from mat for seat occupied recognition.
- Seat cushion, mat for seat occupied recognition, control module and pressure sensor must only be replaced together. Components are complementary and must not be installed separately.

Installing
- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
