Fuel Injection System Components:

1 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39-, 50Nm
- Location: before Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC)
2 - 6-pin connector
- Black
- Terminals gold plated
- For Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) before Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G39- and oxygen sensor heater -Z19-
- Right on underside of vehicle
3 - Oxygen Sensor (O2S) after Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G130-, 50Nm
- Location: behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC)
4 - 4-pin connector
- Black
- Terminals 3 and 4 gold-plated
- For Oxygen Sensor (O2S) after Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G130- and oxygen sensor heating -Z29-
- Right on underside of vehicle
5 - Camshaft position (CMP) sensor -G40-
6 - Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid Valve -N112-
- Secondary air system
7 - Recirculating valve for turbocharger -N249-
- Checking charge pressure system
8 - Ignition coils with power output stage (-N70-, -N127-, -N291-, -N292-)
9 - Wastegate Bypass Regulator Valve -N75-
- Checking charge pressure system
10 - Protective housing
- For Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Relay -J299-
- Secondary air system
11 - Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) -J220-
- Location: below inner cover of plenum chamber, left side in driver compartment
12 - O-ring
- Replace if damaged
13 - Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62-
- For Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) -J220-
- With Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) gauge sensor -G2-
- If necessary release pressure in cooling system before removing
14 - Retaining clip
- Check for secure seating
15 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor -G70-
16 - Valve 1 for camshaft adjustment -N205-
- Servicing valve train; checking camshaft adjustment
17 - Fuel pressure regulator
