Selector shaft oil seal, replacing
Special tools, and auxiliary items
^ Press tool 3385
- Remove left transmission support.
- Remove Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125-.





- Knock roll pin -1- out of selector lever on transmission -2- (arrow).
- Pull selector lever off selector shaft.





- Pry seal out with a screwdriver.





- Drive in new seal until press tool contacts stop, ensuring seal remains straight.
- Install Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125-.
- Push transmission selector lever onto selector shaft and install roil win

Tightening torques
Transmission support to transmission: 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
Transmission support to transmission mounting: 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
Transmission mounting to subframe: 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
Multi-function switch -F125- to transmission: 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)
