Right Luggage Compartment Trim (Jetta), Removing And Installing

Assembly overview







1 - Screws
2 - Tie down hook
3 - Plugs
4 - Luggage compartment trim panel
5 - 12 V socket -U5


WARNING!
Disconnect battery ground (GND) strap before working on electrical system.


Removing
- Remove rear seat backrest.
- Remove wheel housing trim.
- Remove rear lock carrier trim.
- Remove screws -1- and tie down hook -2-.
- Pull out three plugs -3-.
- Remove trim panel and disconnect connector for 12 V socket -U5.

Installing
Install in reverse order.


NOTE:
- Check plugs -3- before assembling and replace as necessary.
- After connecting battery, check vehicle equipment (radio, clock, electric windows).
- If engine Electronic Control Module (ECM) is subject to low voltage with ignition on, DTC memory and Readiness code must be checked.
