- VAG 1551/1552 Scan Tool using VAG 1551/3 adaptor cable

Test conditions
- Fuse 12 OK

Work sequence
- Connect Scan Tool VAG 1551/1552.
- Start engine and let idle.
- Press -0- and -1- buttons to select Address word 01: "Engine electronics"

Display will appear as shown

- Press -0- and -8- buttons to select Function 08: "Read measuring value block".

- Press -0-, -1- and -7- buttons to select "Display group 17".
- Press -Q- button to enter input.

Display will appear as shown (1 to 4 - Display zones):

- Observe Readiness code in zones 2 and 4.
- Zone 2 specified Value: X000XXXX
- Zone 4 specified Value: 0XXXXXXX
- Press -> button.

If specification not obtained
- Set the Readiness code.
- Display the Readiness code.

If DTC memory has been erased
