Hood: Service and Repair

Assembly Overview







1 - Hood
- Removing:
- Remove wiring for window washer system and washer nozzles or disconnect on hinge.
- Disconnect gas-filled strut from lid.
- Remove bolts and remove hood.

- Adjusting
- 01.00 --> modified hood is used

2 - Spacing device
3 - Gas-filled strut
- Removing and installing as for rear lid
- Venting gas

4 - Ball head pin
- 21 Nm

5 - Plenum chamber seal
- Inserted on flange

6 - Clip
7 - Hood seal
8 - Hinge
9 - Bolt
- 23 Nm

10 - Hose/spray jet
11 - Stopper
- By threading out and in, the lid can be adjusted in height to the fenders.
- Various location on hood depending on engine version and hood version
