Central Locking System And Comfort System, Assembly Overview







1 - Coupling station
- Component location: Lower A-pillar, covered by footwell trim.
- Remove lower A-pillar trim

2 - Alarm signal horn
- Component location: Right, behind plenum chamber sealing cover
- Removing:
- Remove plenum chamber sealing cover

3 - Right front window regulator switch
- Only for comfort system

4 - Antenna for remote control
- Under A-pillar trim

5 - Front passengers interior locking button
6 - Right front door control module
- Only for comfort system
- Integrated in window regulator motor
- Removing:
- Remove door trim
- Remove window regulator motor.

7 - Right front door lock
- Door lock is secured to subframe
- Electrical central locking system is integrated in door lock module
- Removing:
- Remove door trim
- Remove door lock, Convertible.

8 - Fuel Tank Lid Unlock Motor V155
- Component location: under C-pillar trim

9 - Exterior mirror adjustment switch and selector switch
10 - Drivers interior locking button
11 - Rear lid remote release motor
- Bolted to carrier
- Micro switch for lock cylinder is also located on carrier
- Motor V151 can only be removed in conjunction with carrier

12 - Coupling station
- Component location: In area of left-hand side of luggage compartment
- Not on Convertible

13 - Hood lock
- Bolted onto lid
- Removing:
- Remove rear lid trim
- Remove lid lock, convertible.

14 - Left front door lock
- Door lock is secured to subframe
- Electrical central locking system is integrated in door lock module
- Removing:
- Remove door trim
- Remove door lock, convertible.

15 - Left front door control module
- Only for comfort system
- Integrated in window regulator motor
- Removing:
- Remove door trim
- Remove window regulator motor.

16 - Operating unit
- With switch for fuel flap release/rear lid release
- Installed in door trim
- Removing:
- Remove door trim

17 - Coupling station
- Component location: Lower A-pillar, covered by footwell trim.
- Remove lower A-pillar trim

18 - Window regulator switch
- Only for comfort system

19 - Central control module
- Bolted on under instrument cluster with bracket at steering column
- To remove, trim under steering column must be removed beforehand

20 - Hood lock
- Contact switch for ATWS
- Component location: in lock carrier
- Removing lid lock
