- VW 309 Holding plate





- VW 313 Support clamp
- 3457 Transport device





- VAG 1202 A Workshop hoist





- Fit transporting device 3457 to mountings on transmission housing and secure in place.





- Bolt holding plate VW 309 to transporting device 3457.
- Insert transmission with holding plate VW 309 in support clamp VW 313 with the aid of workshop hoist VAG 1202 A.
If the transmission is to be turned upward on the repair stand without the oil being drained, the breather holes for the transmission housing and the final drive must be sealed and a drip tray VAG 1306 placed underneath the assembly.
The aid of a second mechanic is required to turn the transmission.
