Rear Final Drive Oil

Rear final drive oil, checking

Special tools and equipment





- VAG1306 Drip tray





- VAG1331 Torque wrench
- Place VAG1306 Drip tray underneath.





- Remove plug -arrow- to check oil.
The oil level is correct when the rear final drive is filled to the lower edge of the filler hole.
Gear oil specification
- Install plug -arrow-.

When filling with new oil note following:
- Remove plug -arrow-.
- Top up oil to lower edge of filler hole.
- Install plug -arrow-.
