Plenum Chamber Cover, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Removing water deflectors.







- Unbolt wiper arm.

CAUTION: Plenum chamber cover must not be pried off using a tool (wedge). Window will be damaged and may crack later.







- Lift plenum chamber cover - 1 - at windshield edge.







- Remove plenum chamber cover - 1 - starting from windshield edge at right angle out of mounting slit at lower edge of windshield.

Installing







- Place plenum chamber cover onto mounting slot.

CAUTION: Striking plenum chamber cover can cause cracks in windshield.







- To ease installation of plenum chamber cover - 1 - in mounting slots, area should be sprayed with a soapy solution.
- Press plenum chamber cover - 1 - in mounting slots, starting from center in direction of - arrow -.







- Installing wiper arm.
