- V.A.G1551 scan tool or V.A.G1552 mobile scan tool with V.A.G1551/3B cable Adaption.

Conditions
- Authorized vehicle key required.

Work sequence
- Connect V.A.G1551 scan tool or V.A.G1552 mobile scan tool with V.A.G1551/3B cable.
- Switch ignition on.
- Operate scan tool or vehicle system tester taking into account information on display:
- Press key 1 for "Rapid data transfer".
- Press keys 1 and 7 for address word "instrument cluster" and confirm entry with Q key.

Adaption Q Erase learned values?

- Confirm input with Q key.

Learned values have been erased

- Conclude adaption by pressing key.
- Press keys 0 and 6 for function "End output" and confirm entry with Q key.
- Switch ignition off.

NOTE: The identity of the engine control module is read into the immobilizer control module when next switching the ignition on.
