Electronic Power Control (EPC) warning lamp in instrument cluster, significance
"EPC" is the abbreviation for Electronic Power Control.

When the ignition is switched on the Engine Control Module checks all components which are important for the correct functioning of the electronic power control.

If malfunctions are recognized in electronic electronic power control system when the engine is running, the Engine Control Module will switch on the EPC lamp (these malfunctions are marked in the DTC table). Simultaneously an entry is made in the Engine Control Module DTC memory.
