Section E - Stopper Installation Check and Part Exchange





- With the convertible top in the open position check the stopper on the left and right hinge covers for correct installation
- If the long groove in the stopper -arrow- is in the forward position, the stopper installation is correct; NO exchange is required
- If groove in the stopper is facing rearward, remove stopper from the left side hinge cover and reinstall it on the right side hinge cover; remove stopper from the right side hinge cover and reinstall it on the left side hinge cover

NOTE: Illustration shows hinge cover open on left side of vehicle as viewed from the front passenger seat

- Turn ignition switch to "ON" position, press control switch down and close the top
- Pull down the handle for locking the top, turn handle counterclockwise as far as the stop, pull the top down and turn the handle clockwise
- Push handle up into the recess
