Fuel Rail: Service and Repair

Fuel rail with injectors, disassembling and assembling
1- Retaining clip
^ Check if seated securely
2- Return line
^ Blue or with blue marking
^ Secure with spring-type clips
^ Check if seated securely
^ To fuel delivery unit in fuel tank.
3- Supply line
^ Black with white marks
^ Secure with spring-type clips
^ Check if seated securely
^ From fuel filter.
4- Fuel rail
5- Air pipe
6- To intake hose
7- Air hose
^ For air shrouded injectors
8- Retaining clip
^ Ensure if seated correctly at injector and fuel rail
9- Injector -N30-...-N33
^ Air shrouded
^ Checking quantity injected and for leaks
^ When replacing erase Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory
10- O-ring
^ Replace
^ Before installing moisten with clean engine oil
11- 8 Nm
12- O-ring
^ Replace
13- Vacuum hose
^ To intake manifold upper part
14- Fuel pressure regulator
^ When replacing erase DTC memory
