Clutch Hydraulic System: Diagrams






Hydraulic System, Assembly Overview






1. Brake fluid reservoir
2. Supply hose

3. Line/Hose assembly
For connectors on master and slave cylinders
Separating and attaching to master cylinder, refer to Service and Repair
Separating from slave cylinder, refer to 2

4. Bush
5. Mounting bracket

6. Clutch pedal
Removing and installing. Service and Repair

7. hex socket head bolt 20 Nm

8. Pin
Always replace
Lubricate with polyurea grease

9. Master cylinder
Witch connectors for line/hose assembly
Removing and installing. Service and Repair
Clip (-arrow A-) and seal (-arrow B-) must not be dismantled
To remove line/hose assembly (-arrow A-) pull out to stop. Service and Repair

10. Transmission

11. Slave cylinder
Do not operate clutch pedal after slave cylinder has been removed
Brake fluid must not be allowed to get onto the transmission
To install, lubricate lightly. See Fig. 1
When installing push in until the securing bolt -item 16- can be installed.
With connectors for line/hose assembly
Separate from line/hose assembly. See Fig. 2

Bleeding clutch system, refer to Service and Repair - Procedures Service and Repair

12. Bleeder valve, 4 Nm

13. Dust cap

14. Clip
To remove hose/line assembly, pull out clip (arrow) to stop. See Fig. 2

15. Bracket
For line/hose assembly
Secured to transmission with slave cylinder

16. Hex socket head bolt 20 Nm
Slave cylinder on transmission
Self locking
Always replace

17. Hex nut 2 Nm
18. Seal

- Before installing slave cylinder in transmission housing, you must coat the area -a- of the boot with Lithium grease G 052 150 A2
- Apply a thin coat of copper grease to surface of clutch release lever where it contacts plunger

Removing

- To remove line/hose assembly, you must pry up clip -A- out to the stop, using a screwdriver. Only then can you pull out the line/home assembly

Installing

- Press in clip -A- to the stop.
- Push line/home assembly into slave cylinder until assembly audibly engages.
- Test line/hose assembly by tugging on it.
