WARNING: The cooling system is pressurized when the engine is warm. Wear gloves and other protection and carefully release system pressure if necessary, before performing repairs.

6 - O ring

7 - Recessed hex socket bolts
- M8 x 32 mm
8 - Bracket
9 - Ribbed belt
- Ribbed belt routing. Refer to Ribbed belt - 8-cyl. engine, checking
- Checking. Refer to Ribbed belt - 8-cyl. engine, checking.
- Removing and installing.
10 - Hex socket bolts
- M8 x 95 mm
11 - Generator (GEN).
- Securing B1+ wire to generator. Refer to Generator (GEN) B1+ connection08.99, securing.
- Voltage regulator and/or brushes are not serviceable separately. When troubleshooting indicates a malfunction, replace generator complete.
