Maintenance of thread in side rail
Maintenance of the thread in the weld nuts on the side rail is possible under specific conditions.
- Maintenance can only be done once per thread.
- If maintenance must be done a second time, replace the weld nut.
- Take note of the repair instructions in the operating manual for the VAS repair kit.

WARNING: Be sure to wear safety glasses during drilling!

- Have the thread repair checked by your supervisor or immediate superior.
- Eliminate all damage to the undercoating.
