High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) Lamp Driving Direction Setting Checking

HID headlamps may be equipped with a mechanism that allows the headlight beam pattern to be changed in accordance with market appropriate driving direction. Potential glare to oncoming traffic is minimized with the proper setting.

Confirm setting for the USA/CDN as follows:







- Unclip cap -arrow- and remove.







- Confirm selector -1- to be in lower setting - down arrow-.
- Selector up: right-hand drive (e.g.: Great Britain - Australia etc.)
- Selector down: left-hand drive (e.g.: USA - Canada - Europe etc.)


CAUTION!
The hex socket portion of the selector is only to be used to move the selector into position. Do not turn the hex socket portion of the selector as damage to the selector mechanism will result.
