Air Filter Housing Overview





1. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Heating Element -N79-
• Not available on this engine.
• For crankcase ventilation.

2. Connector
• Not available on this engine.
• Black, 2 pin.
• For the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) heating element.
• Check the specified value of the voltage supply for the PCV heating element between contacts 1 and 2 with the engine running: minimum 11.5 volts.

3. Connected Hose
• Not available on this engine.
• For air shrouded fuel injectors.

4. Mass Airflow Sensor -G70- with Intake Air Temperature Sensor -G42-.
• Sensor contacts and connector contacts are gold plated.

5. Connector
• Black, 5 pin.
• Sensor contacts and connector contacts are gold plated.

6. Seal
• Replace if damaged.

7. Upper Air Filter Housing

8. Bolt
• 6 Nm

13. Vent Hose
• For crankcase ventilation.
• From the ventilation housing on the cylinder head cover.
• Make sure it is secure.
• Press together at the front to release.
