EVAP Canister System Components, Removing And Installing (vehicles With Engine Code BBW)







1. Ventilation line
- White
- Check for secure seating
- To release, press together securing ring on EVAP canister
- To Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve
2. Check-valve
- Clipped in on filler tube.
3. Connection hose
- Pressure side
- Check for secure seating
4. Connector
- Black, 3-pin
5. Vacuum line
- Check for secure seating
- To upper part of intake manifold.
6. Leak Detection Pump (LDP) -V144
- Under wheelhousing liner in rear right wheelhousing
7. Connection hose
- Intake side
- Check for secure seating
8. 3 Nm
9. Air filter for leak detection pump
10. Bracket
- To remove, pull forward in area of locking mechanism (center) and slide bracket downward
11. 3 Nm
12. Ventilation pipe
- Check for secure seating
- To release, press together securing ring on EVAP canister
- Component of fuel tank.
13. EVAP canister
- Under wheelhousing liner in rear right wheelhousing
