Central Locking And Convenience System, Assembly Overview







1 - Coupling station
- Installation position: Lower A pillar cover
- covered by trim in footwell
- Remove A-pillar lower trim
2 - Anti-theft alarm horn
- Location: On right behind the plenum chamber closing cover
3 - Front right power window switch
- For convenience system only
4 - Aerial for remote control
- Under A pillar trim
5 - Interior locking switch, front passenger's side
6 - Front right door control module
- For convenience system only
- Integrated into window electric motor.
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- unscrew window electric motor.
7 - Front right door lock
- Door lock is secured to assembly carrier
- Electric central locking is integrated into door lock module
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Remove door lock.
8 - Motor for fuel tank lid unlock -V155-
- Component location: Under C-pillar trim
9 - Exterior mirror adjustment switch and change-over switch
10 - Interior locking switch, driver's side
11 - Tailgate/trunk lid remote release motor
- Bolted onto tailgate/trunk lid.
- Lock cylinder micro-switch is also located on carrier
- Motor for remote unlock rear lid -151- can only be removed in conjunction with the carrier.
12 - Coupling station
- Component location: On left in luggage compartment.
- Not used on Convertible
13 - Hood lock
- Bolted to tailgate/trunk lid
- Removing:
- Removing tailgate trim panel
- Remove tailgate/trunk lock lock.
14 - Front left door lock
- Door lock is secured to assembly carrier.
- Electric central locking is integrated into door lock module.
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Remove door lock.
15 - Front left door control unit
- For convenience system only.
- Integrated into window electric motor.
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Remove window electric motor.
16 - Controls
- With switch to release fuel tank filler flap and tailfate/trunk lid.
- Installed in door trim.
- Removing:
- Remove door trim
17 - Coupling station
- Component location: Lower A-pillar, covered by trim in footwell.
- Remove left A-pillar lower trim.
18 - Power window switch
- For convenience system only.
19 - Central control unit
- Bolted to bracket on steering column under instrument panel.
- To remove, first remove trim under steering column.
20 - Hood lock
- Contact switch for anti-theft system (ATA).
- Component location: In lock carrier.
- Removing hood lock
