Location: integrated into printed circuit board which is located in selector lever cover.

The Tiptronic switch consists of hall sensors which are activated by a magnet (arrow) located on the cover strip sliding cover -2-.

If malfunctioning, first ensure that the magnet (arrow) is securely attached to the cover strip sliding cover -2-. Replace the cover strip if necessary. The selector mechanism cover with integrated printed circuit must only be replaced once the wiring has been checked.

On models with a multi-function steering wheel, the buttons on the steering wheel must also be checked along with the wiring connections.
