CAUTION: Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:
- Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.
- Switch the ignition off.
- Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.
- After reconnecting battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows according to Owner's Manual.

1. Sender for fuel gauge -G-
- Monitored by OBD
- Location, front-wheel drive models, see Fig. 1.
- Location, all-wheel drive models, see Fig. 2.
- Two additional fuel senders are installed on all-wheel drive models
- Location, -G169-, see Fig. 3.
- Location, -G237-, see Fig. 4.
2. Outside air temperature sensor -G17-
- Monitored by OBD
- Location, see Fig. 5.
3. Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G22-
- Monitored by OBD
- Location, see Fig. 6.
4. Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor -G2-
- Location depends engine type
- Monitored via self-diagnosis
5. Oil level thermal sensor -G266-*
- Location: on engine oil pan
- Monitored by OBD
6. Instrument cluster -K-
- Monitored by OBD
