Transmission, attaching to assembly stand, 01V, 5 SPD. A/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
^ Holding plate VW 309
^ Attachment and holding rig 3457
^ Engine and Transmission Holder VAS 6095
^ Shop crane VAS 6100

Work procedure
^ Transmission removed.
^ Remove torque converter.
^ Attach holding plate VW 309 onto attachment and holding rig 3457.





^ Secure transmission to attachment and holding rig and insert into Engine and transmission holder VAS 6095 using Shop crane VAS 6100.

Note:
^ Venting for the transmission housing and final drive must be closed before turning a filled transmission with oil pan upward on the engine and transmission holder.
