Clamp rear final drive in assembly bracket; Refer to Fig. 1
1. Air vent sleeve

2. Rear axle housing[1]
3. Large tapered roller bearing outer race[1]

5. Cover for rear final drive[1]

^ Always replace
^ Coat seal with gear oil and insert
6. Torx screw, 15 Nm and turn 45° further
7. Oil seal
8. Hex socket head bolt, 24 Nm
9. Flange shaft
10. Oil filler plug, 35 Nm
11. Differential [1]
12. Oil drain plug, 35 Nm
13. Bushing

- Thread two bolts into flange and counter-hold flange shaft with a lever to remove flange shaft securing bolts.

The vent sleeve must project 13 mm (dimension -a-) out from housing after pressing in.
The slit in the rubber valve must run longitudinally to direction of travel.
