Selector mechanism as of 01/01





- Align gear selector lever so that it tilts slightly toward right (arrow) and slightly to rear.

Continued for all selector mechanism
- Tighten selector rod bolt to prescribed torque
- Position of gear selector lever must not be changed during procedure.

Functional check
Gear selector lever must rest in 3rd/4th gear gate when transmission is in neutral.
- Operate clutch.
- Select all gears several times. Pay particular attention to operation of reverse gear lock.
Gear selector lever must move from reverse gear gate into 3rd/4th gear gate on its own.
Should a gear fail to engage smoothly after repeated selection:
- Repeat selector adjustment.





- Install cover for gear selector lever housing and tighten bolts to prescribed torque
- Install gear selector lever knob and cover.
