Hydraulic system, assembly overview





1. Brake fluid reservoir
2. Supply hose
3. Line/hose assembly
4. Bushing
5. Mounting bracket
6. Clutch pedal
7. Hex socket head bolt, 20 Nm
8. Pin
^ Always replace
^ Lubricate with polyurea grease
9. Master cylinder
10. Transmission
11. Slave cylinder
12. Bleeder valve, 4 Nm
13. Dust cap
14. Clip
^ To remove line/hose assembly, pull out clip to stop - Fig 2
15. Bracket
^ For line/hose assembly
^ Secured to transmission with slave cylinder
16. Bolt, 25 Nm
^ Slave cylinder on transmission
^ Self-locking
^ Always replace
17. Hex nut, 2 Nm
18. Seal

- Before installing slave cylinder in transmission housing, coat area -a- of boot with Lithium grease G 052 150 A2.
- Apply a thin coat of copper grease to surface of clutch release lever where it contacts plunger.

Removing
- To remove line/hose assembly, pry out clip -A- to stop using a screwdriver. Pull out line-hose assembly.

Installing
- Press in clip -A- to stop.
- Push line/hose assembly into slave cylinder until assembly audibly engages.
- Test line/hose assembly by tugging on it.
