NOTE: On 8-cyl. engines, the voltage regulator and/or brushes are not serviceable separately. When troubleshooting indicates a malfunction, replace generator complete.







Length of new carbon brushes = 12 mm (0.5 inch)
Wear limit = 5 mm (0.19 inch)
Tolerance = +1 mm (0.03 inch)
