Chain driven oil pump, removing and installing
1. Vibration damper
- When installing note fixing arrangement
- Removing and installing
- Removing and installing ribbed belt
2. Oil pump
- Driven by a chain from the crankshaft
- Only replace complete
- Ancillaries see Fig. 2
3. Oil cooler
- Coat contact area to flange, outside the seal, with AMV 188 1 00 02
- Observe note
4. 30 Nm
5. Oil filter
- Loosen with strap wrench
- Tighten by hand
- Observe installation instructions on oil filter
6. Seal
- Always replace
7. O-ring
- Always replace
8. Oil supply pipe
- From oil filter to engine oil circuit
9. Oil supply pipe
- From oil pump to oil filter
10. Oil supply pipe bracket
11. 10 Nm
12. Oil drain plug, 30 Nm
- Replace if leaking. In some cases, seal and drain plug are combined; do not interchange with separate seal and drain plug.
13. Seal
- Always replace
14. Oil pan -lower part
- If oil pan -lower part is fitted with silicon
15. Gasket
- If fitted, replace
16. 25 Nm

a - Area above hatched field up to max. mark: Do not top-up with engine oil!
b - Oil level within hatched field: can be topped-up with engine oil
c - Area from min. mark up to hatched field: fill with max. 0.5 ltr. of engine oil!
