Exhaust manifold/ catalytic converter module with front exhaust pipe and attachments


NOTE:
- Cylinder bank 1 is located on right side in direction of travel.
- Cylinder bank 2 is located on left side in direction of travel.







1 25 Nm
- Coat threads with G 052 112 A3
2 Exhaust manifold with right catalytic converter module
- Check right catalytic converter module
- Can only be replaced with the engine removed:
3 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39- bank 1*, 50 Nm
- for cylinder bank 1
- Only use "G 052 112 A3" to grease thread; do not let "G 052 112 A3" get onto slit of oxygen sensor
- Check oxygen sensor heater for oxygen sensors before catalytic converter.
- Check oxygen sensors and oxygen sensor regulation before catalytic converter.
- Can only be replaced with the engine removed.
4 Seal
5 30 Nm
- Coat threads with G 052 112 A3
6 Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G130- bank 1*, 50 Nm
- for cylinder bank 1
- Only use "G 052 112 A3" to grease thread; do not let "G 052 112 A3" get onto slit of oxygen sensor
- Check oxygen sensor heater for Oxygen Sensors (O2S) behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC).
- Check Oxygen Sensors (O2S) and oxygen sensor control behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC).
- Can only be replaced with the engine removed.
7 Right front exhaust pipe
8 Suspended mount
- Individual components Fig. 1 and Fig. 3
9 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 -G108-*, 50 Nm
- for cylinder bank 2
- Only use "G 052 112 A3" to grease thread; do not let "G 052 112 A3" get onto slit of oxygen sensor
- Check oxygen sensor heater for oxygen sensors before catalytic converter.
- Check oxygen sensors and oxygen sensor regulation before catalytic converter.
- Can only be replaced with the engine removed.
10 Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 2 Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G131- bank 2*, 50 Nm
- for cylinder bank 2
- Only use "G 052 112 A3" to grease thread; do not let "G 052 112 A3" get onto slit of oxygen sensor
- Check oxygen sensor heater for Oxygen Sensors (O2S) behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC).
- Check Oxygen Sensors (O2S) and oxygen sensor control behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC).
- Can only be replaced with the engine removed.
11 Suspended mount
- Individual components Fig. 2 and Fig. 4
12 Left front exhaust pipe
13 Exhaust manifold with left catalytic converter module
- Check left catalytic converter module.
- Can only be replaced with the engine removed.
14 Upper heat shield
15 10 Nm
16 Seal.
