Selector Mechanism Cover, Disassembling and Assembling

Selector mechanism cover, disassembling and assembling, 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (FWD)

Disassembling
- Remove cover.





The four retaining tabs -arrows B- must not be removed from the printed circuit. The printed circuit will otherwise be damaged.





- Carefully pry off retaining tabs -arrows-.





- Remove cover strip -2- from guide -3-.

Assembling
- Check whether the solenoids -arrows- are secured on the cover strip -2-.

If this is not the case, the cover strip must be replaced.
- Place cover strip -2- in guide -3-.





- Carefully engage cover strip with guide -arrows-.

If the tabs are damaged the respective component must be replaced.
- Install cover.
