Transmission, securing to assembly stand, 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (AWD)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required:

^ Holding plate VW309
^ Holding fixture VW313
^ Attachment and holding rig 3457

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Workshop crane V.A.G. 1202A:

^ Attach attachment and holding rig 3457 to mounts on transmission housing and secure.
^ Screw holding plate VW309 onto attachment and holding rig 3457.





^ Insert transmission with holding plate VW309 using workshop crane V.A.G1202A into holding fixture VW313.

Vent holes for the transmission housing and final drive must be closed before turning a filled transmission on the assembly stand so that the oil pan faces upward and drip tray V.A.G1306 must be placed underneath.

A second mechanic is required to turn the transmission.
