Headlight Washer System, Bleeding

After any disassembly/reassembly operations are performed to the headlight washer system, the system must be bled and operation confirmed.

Proceed as follows:
- Fill windshield and headlight washer system reservoir.

WARNING: Engage handbrake and ensure transmission is in neutral or range "P".

- Switch on ignition.
- Switch on headlights.
- Operate windshield washer switch intermittently, with 3-5 impulses over a 3 second period (washer jet cylinder should momentarily engage/raise/lower).
- Repeat procedure until all air has been bled from system and washer jet cylinder engages/raises immediately and consistently.
