Turbocharger with attachments - Assembly Overview

NOTE:
- Cylinder bank 1 is located in direction of travel, right.
- Cylinder bank 2 is located in direction of travel, left.







1 Motor for intake flap
- Servicing Motor for intake flap
- Checking. Refer to Motor For Intake Flap, Checking. Testing and Inspection
Cylinder bank 1:
- Motor for intake flap -V157-*
Cylinder bank 2:
- Intake Flap Motor 2 -V275-*
2 8 Nm
3 Seal
4 EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Valve
- Parts of Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system, removing and installing. Refer to Parts of Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) System, Removing and Installing.
- Checking. Refer to EGR Valve, Checking.
5 Gasket
- Note installed position
6 Intake manifold
- Removing and installing. Refer to Intake Manifold, Removing and Installing.
7 20 Nm
8 8 Nm
9 Turbocharger
- Can only be replaced with the engine removed:
- Fill with engine oil at filler tube before threading on oil supply line
- Tighten oil supply line to 23 Nm
10 40 Nm
11 Servo motor for turbocharger
- Part of turbocharger, cannot be replaced
- Checking servo motor for turbocharger and charge air pressure regulation:
Cylinder bank 1:
- Turbocharger (TC) 1 Servo-motor-V280-*
Cylinder bank 2:
- Turbocharger (TC) 2 Servo-motor-V281-*
