Hall sender oil seals, replacing

Work sequence
Left cylinder head
Right cylinder head
Oil seal extractor 2085
Installation sleeves 3241
- Pull connectors off ignition coils and injectors and move wiring to side.
- Disconnect connector from Hall sender.
- Remove Hall sender housing along with screen and taper.
- Remove right toothed belt guard.
- Disconnect connector from Hall sender.




- Remove bolts -1- from Hall sender.
- Remove bolts -2- from rear toothed belt guard.
- Pull rear toothed belt guard forward slightly and remove Hall sender housing along with rotor and taper.





- Install pin 2085/1 as shown.





- Unscrew inner part of oil seal extractor 2085 several turns out of outer part and lock with knurled screw.
- Lubricate threaded head of oil seal extractor, place it in position and exerting firm pressure screw it into oil seal as far as possible.
- Loosen knurled screw and turn inner part against pin 2085/1 until oil seal is pulled out.
- Clamp flats of oil seal extractor in vice. Remove oil seal with pliers.





- Position new seal with installation 3241/1 and bolt 3241/3 and press in unti flush.

Further assembly is basically the reverse of the disassembly procedure.
