Anti-theft Warning System, Activating And Deactivating
Anti-theft warning system is automatically switched on by locking the vehicle. Antitheft warning system is then activated immediately.
NOTE: So that anti-theft warning system does not trigger unnecessary alarms, close all windows and doors before locking vehicle.
Anti-theft alarm system, deactivating
- Anti-theft warning system is deactivated when the vehicle is unlocked via the unlock button on radio-frequency remote control, or
- when the ignition is switched on.
Anti-theft alarm system, unlocking vehicle mechanically (emergency opening)
- Unlock vehicle at drivers door lock using key.
Anti-theft warning system remains activated, however no alarm is triggered.
- Switch on ignition within 15 seconds.
NOTE: If the ignition is not switched on after 15 seconds the alarm is triggered.
By switching on the ignition, the electronic immobilizer recognizes a valid vehicle key and deactivates the anti-theft warning system.
