Front Bumper: Locations

Assembly Overview

NOTE:
- The front bumper cover is a component part of the front end and must be removed together.
- It is essential that the tightening sequence of the bolts/screws - 10 -, - 12 -, - 15 - are observed to ensure conciseness of joints/shut lines etc.







1. Cover
- Removing:
- Remove wheel housing liners.
- Removing front part.
- Dismantle headlight washer system, if necessary.
- Remove bolts -- and remove clips -- on left and right sides.
- Remove bolts -- and --.

- USA- Remove version with impact damper.
4. Insulation
- Bonded with Butyl adhesive cord AKL 450 005 05

- 30 Nm

- With welded captive nuts
- Qty. 2
9. Clip

- Install with locking fluid D 185 400 A2
