Power Locks: Locations

Central Locking And Convenience System, Assembly Overview







1. Coupling station
- Location: Lower A-pillar covered by trim in footwell
- Remove A pillar lower trim.
- Removing and installing (Convertible).
2. Anti-theft alarm horn
- Location: On right behind plenum chamber sealing cover
- Removing:
- Remove plenum chamber sealing part.
3. Right front power window switch
- For convenience system only
4. Antenna for remote control
- Under A-pillar trim
5. Interior locking switch, front passengers side
6. Right front door control module
- For convenience system only
- Integrated into window electric motor
- Removing:
- Removing door trim.
- Unscrew window electric motor.
7. Right front door lock
- Door lock is secured to assembly carrier
- Electric central locking is integrated into door lock module
- Removing:
- Removing door trim.
- Removing door lock.
8. Fuel Tank Lid Unlock Motor V155
- Location: Under C pillar trim
9. Exterior mirror adjustment switch and change-over switch
10. Interior locking switch, drivers side
11. Rear lid remote release motor
- Bolted to rear lid
- Lock cylinder micro switch is also located on carrier
- The motor Rear Lid Remote Unlock Motor V151 can only be removed in conjunction with the carrier
12. Coupling station
- Location: On left in luggage compartment
- Not on Convertible
13. Tailgate lock
- Bolted to tailgate
- Removing:
- Removing rear lid trim.
- Removing tailgate lock.
14. Left front door lock
- Door lock is secured to assembly carrier
- Electric central locking is integrated into door lock module
- Removing:
- Removing door trim.
- Removing door lock.
15. Left front door control module
- For convenience system only
- Integrated into window electric motor
- Removing:
- Removing door trim.
- Unscrew window electric motor.
16. Control
- With switch to release fuel tank filler flap and rear lid
- Installed in door trim
- Removing:
- Removing door trim.
17. Coupling station
- Location: Lower A-pillar covered by trim in footwell
- Remove A pillar lower trim.
18. Power window switch
- For convenience system only
19. Central control module
- Bolted to bracket on steering column under dash panel
- To remove, first remove trim under steering column.
20. Hood lock
- Contact switch for anti-theft system (ATA)
- Location: In lock carrier
- Remove tailgate lock.
