^ Location: in engine compartment on left side
The hydraulic unit consists of the following components:
^ ABS hydraulic pump V64
^ Valve block (contains the inlet-exhaust valves)
^ Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" with the VAS5051

2 - ABS control module J104
^ Location: at the hydraulic unit in the engine compartment on left side
^ Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" with the VAS5051

3 - Brake light switch F

4 - Sender for Rotation Rate G202
^ In vehicles up to 11.01
^ Location: next to the steering column

5 - Sensor for transverse acceleration G200
^ In vehicles up to 11.01
^ Location: next to the steering column

6 - ESP-sensor unit G419
^ In vehicles from 12.01
^ Combined Sensor for transverse acceleration G200 and Sender for Rotation Rate G202 Combined in one housing
^ Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" with the VAS5051

7 - Brake System Vacuum Pump V192
^ Only in vehicles with gasoline engine and automatic transmission
^ Location: at mounting left

8 - Brake booster
9 - Steering angle sensor G85
^ Only in vehicles with ABS/EDL/ASR/ESP
^ Location: on the steering column between the steering wheel and the drop-arm switch.
^ Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" with the VAS5051

10 - Brake pressure sensor 1 G201
^ Only in vehicles with ABS/EDL/ASR/ESP
^ Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" with the VAS5051

11 - Brake system warning lamp K118
^ Location: in the instrument cluster
^ On USA vehicles, the inscription "BRAKE" replaces the symbol

12 - ABS warning lamp K47
^ Location: in the instrument cluster
^ On USA vehicles, the inscription "ABS" replaces the symbol

13 - ASR/ESP Control Lamp K155
^ Location: in the instrument cluster

14 - Right Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor G44 / Left Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor G46
^ Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" with the VAS5051

15 - Wheel hub with rotor for rear wheel speed sensor
^ Rotor and wheel speed sensor for left and right rear are identical

16 - Wheel hub with rotor for front speed sensor
^ Rotor and speed sensor for front right and left are identical parts

17 - Right Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor G45 / Left Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor G47
^ Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" with the VAS5051

^ Location: under left-hand side of the shelf on the driver's side
