2. Gasket
- Always replace
3. Front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter
- Check catalytic converter
4. Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39-* bank 1, 50 Nm
- Only grease threads with G 052 112 A3 high-temperature lubricant, do NOT allow high-temperature lubricant to get into slots on sensor body
- Voltage supply of oxygen sensor heater via Fuel Pump (FP) Relay -J17-
- Check oxygen sensor heater for Oxygen Sensor (O2S) before Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC)
- Check Oxygen Sensor (O2S) and oxygen sensor control before Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC)
5. 6-pin harness connector
- Terminals are gold-plated
- For Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39- and Oxygen Sensor (O2S) heater -Z19-
- At right vehicle underside
6. 4-pin harness connector
- Terminals 3 and 4 gold-plated
- For Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G130- and Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Heater 1 (behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC)) -Z29-
- At right vehicle underside
7. Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G130-*, 50 Nm
- Only grease threads with G 052 112 A3 high-temperature lubricant, do NOT allow high-temperature lubricant to get into slots on sensor body
- Voltage supply of oxygen sensor heater via Fuel Pump (FP) Relay -J17-
- Check oxygen sensor heater for Oxygen Sensor (O2S) behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC)
- Check Oxygen Sensor (O2S) and oxygen sensor control behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC)
8. To front muffler
9. 40 Nm
- Always replace
- Coat threads with G 052 112 A3 high-temperature lubricant
