1. 10 Nm
2. Air cleaner
3. 6 Nm
4. 40-pin connector
- Only disconnect or connect connector with ignition switched off
- Release to disconnect
5. 81-pin connector
- Only disconnect or connect connector with ignition switched off
- Release to disconnect
6. Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) -J220-
- Location: Under inner plenum chamber cover in passenger compartment, left side
- With integrated Barometric pressure (BARO) sensor -F96-
7. O-ring
8. Engine speed (RPM) sensor -G28-
9. 3-pin connector
- For engine speed sensor
10. 4-pin connector
- Contacts 3 and 4 are gold-plated
- For Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G130- and Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Heater 1 (behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC)) -729-
11. Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -G130-, 50 Nm
- Grease only threads with G 052 112 A3; G 052 112 A3 must not get into sensor slots
- Remove and install with ring spanner 3337
- Sensor heater voltage supply via Fuel Pump (FP) relay -J17-
12. 6-pin connector
- Contacts are gold plated
- For Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39- and Oxygen sensor (O2S) heater -Z19-
13. Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39-, 50 Nm
- Grease only thread with G 052 112 A3; G 052 112 A3 must not get into sensor slots
- Remove and install with ring spanner 3337
- Sensor heater voltage supply via Fuel Pump (FP) relay -J17-
14. 20 Nm

- Between intake manifold and compact bracket

- 4-pin connector
18. Seal
19. From EVAP canister purge regulator valve -N80-
20. Throttle valve control module -J338-
- 6-pin connector
- If replaced, match engine control module.
21. Return hose
- Secure with spring-type clamps Electronic parts catalog "ETKA"
- Check for secure seating
- To fuel delivery unit in fuel tank.
22. Supply line
- Secure with spring-type clamps Electronic parts catalog "ETKA"
- Check for secure seating
- From fuel filter.
23. Fuel rail with injectors

- Check for secure seating
25. O-ring
- Replace if damaged
26. Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62-
- For engine control module
- With Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G2-
- If necessary, release pressure in cooling system before removing

- 4-pin.
- For Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62- with Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G2-
28. Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor -G42-
- 2-pin connector

- Chamber 1 vacant
- Sensor and connector contacts are gold plated.

- Remove and install with ring spanner set 3337
- Sensor heater voltage supply via Fuel Pump (FP) relay -J17-

- Contacts 3 and 4 are gold-plated
- For Oxygen Sensor (O2S (in Center Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC), Bank 1 -G465- and Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Heater - Center Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) -Z59-

- Grease only threads with G 052 112 A3; G 052 112 A3 must not get into sensor slots
- Remove and install with ring spanner 3337
