Exhaust System Components, Servicing

CAUTION:
When doing any repair work, especially in the engine compartment, pay attention to the following due to the confined conditions:
- Route all the various lines (e.g. for fuel, hydraulic system, EVAP system, coolant, refrigerant, brake fluid, vacuum) and electrical wiring so that the original positions are restored.
- Ensure that there is sufficient clearance to all moving or hot components.

NOTE:
- After working on the exhaust system ensure that the system is not under stress and that there is sufficient clearance to the bodywork. If necessary, loosen double and single clamps and align muffler and exhaust pipe so that sufficient clearance is maintained to the bodywork and the support rings are evenly loaded.
- Replace self-locking nuts.
