Turn Signal Bulb, Removing and Installing

NOTE:
- The exterior mirror turn signal bulb is a long lasting light emitting diode (LED) and not a normal light bulb.
- The complete turn signal unit must be replaced if damaged.

Removing
- Switch off ignition and all electrical components and remove ignition key from ignition lock.







The Drivers Exterior Mirror Turn Signal Lamp L131 and the Front Passengers Exterior Mirror Turn Signal Lamp L132 are respectively installed in the housing - arrow -.

To remove the turn signal bulb the following work must be performed:
- Remove mirror glass.
- Remove mirror housing.







- Remove screw - 1 - from interior of mirror housing and unclip retaining lug - arrow -.







- Swivel turn signal bulb - 1 - in - direction of arrow - and remove.

Installing







- Insert turn signal bulb - 1 - into mirror housing - 2 -, as shown - arrows -, and swivel in direction of arrow.







- Clip locking lug in - arrow - and tighten bolt - 1 - to 1 Nm.

Further assembly is basically the reverse of the dismantling procedure.
