Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Sensor for transmission RPM -G182- / Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor -G93-, removing and installing, 02E, 6 SPD. DSG A/T

Special tools and equipment

V.A.G 1306 Drip tray:

V.A.G 1331 Torque wrench:

Removing
- Remove Mechatronic.





- Unscrew bolt -B-.
- Remove Sensor for transmission RPM -A- together with wiring from transmission.

Installing
- Installation is performed in reverse order. Note the following:
- Moisten Sensor for transmission RPM -A- with gear oil and place in transmission side opening.
- Tighten new bolt (M6) -B- to 10 Nm.
- Install Mechatronic.
