Clutches for direct shift transmissions contain always a minimum of two disc packs,which here relates to a "double clutch".

The outer, larger disc pack is named "K1" (clutch 1). "K1" shifts the reverse gear and gears 1 , 3 and 5 . Gears 2 , 4 and 6 are shifted via the inner, smaller "K2".

Assembling the clutch requires special care because all components were calibrated to each other by the manufacturer. When assembling, if position of parts in relation to each other are rotated, imbalance occurs to burden shifting comfort.

To avoid the risk of turning parts from one another in the first place, it is shown here how the clutch is assembled in the transmission housing and installed.
